Our Google Review Removal Service
G-DEFENCE is a Google review removal service for Australian businesses. We assess reviews that appear fake, defamatory or in breach of Google's policies, build the case, and challenge them through Google's own complaint and legal-removal channels. You pay only when a review is actually removed.

What Google review removal actually involves
No one outside Google can delete a Google review. Not the business owner, not a lawyer, not a reputation agency. What a specialist can do is identify the reviews that genuinely break Google's rules or Australian law, document why, and put that case to Google in the channel where it is most likely to be properly considered. The removal decision is always Google's.
That distinction matters, because it shapes everything about how a reputable Google review removal company should work. Our job is not to make criticism disappear. It is to make sure reviews that should never have been published, such as fabricated accounts from people who were never customers, attacks from competitors, or posts that expose someone's private information, are judged against the rules that already apply to them.
Which Google reviews can be removed, and which cannot
Google's review policy sets out prohibited and restricted content for Maps and Business Profiles. Separately, Google accepts requests to remove content that is unlawful under local law. Between them, these routes cover most of the reviews Australian businesses ask us about. Reviews that are often challengeable include:
- Fake or non-customer reviews: posts from people with no genuine experience of the business, including review bombing after a news story or social media pile-on. See fake Google review removal.
- Conflict of interest: reviews left by competitors, current or former employees reviewing their own employer, or anyone with a stake in harming the business.
- Spam and off-topic content: duplicate posts, reviews about a different business, political rants or content unrelated to a customer experience.
- Harassment, hate speech and offensive content: personal attacks on named staff, slurs, threats or sexually explicit material.
- Personal information: reviews that publish phone numbers, home addresses, health details or other private information about an identifiable person.
- Potentially defamatory statements: false statements of fact that damage reputation, such as allegations of fraud or criminal conduct that never happened. See defamatory Google reviews.
- Extortion: one-star reviews posted alongside demands for payment or refunds to have them taken down.
Just as important is what usually stays. A genuine customer who had a poor experience and says so, even bluntly and even unfairly in your view, is expressing an opinion Google is designed to protect. A one-star rating with no text, a complaint about slow service, a disagreement about price: these are rarely removable, and we will tell you so in your assessment rather than take your money for a complaint that should not succeed. Our page on negative Google reviews explains where that line sits.
How our Google review removal process works
- Free assessment. You send us the review links and any background you have. We reply within 24 hours with a straight answer on which reviews have a credible basis for removal and which do not.
- Evidence and grounds. For each review we take on, we identify the specific policy category or legal basis, and gather what supports it: customer records showing no transaction, timing patterns across a review cluster, links between reviewer accounts, or factual errors that can be demonstrated.
- Submission through the right channel. Some reviews belong in Google's policy reporting process; others are better suited to Google's legal removal request route. Choosing correctly, and framing the complaint clearly, is a large part of the work.
- Follow-up and escalation. If Google's first decision does not go the way the evidence suggests it should, we consider whether an appeal or a different route is justified. Our Google review disputes service covers this stage in detail.
- Invoice only after removal. When a review is removed, we invoice for that review. If it is not removed, you owe nothing for it.
The full workflow, including what we need from you at each step, is on our process page. How long it takes depends on the evidence and on how quickly Google works through a complaint, so we do not quote timeframes we cannot control.
Why use a specialist instead of reporting reviews yourself
Any business owner can flag a review from their Business Profile, and for some reviews that is enough. Our free guide on how to remove a Google review walks through it. Many owners come to us after trying that route first, usually for one of these reasons:
- The report options are blunt. Choosing a single category from a drop-down rarely conveys why a review is fake or unlawful. A structured complaint that sets out the grounds and evidence gives a reviewer at Google something concrete to assess.
- Choosing the wrong route. A review that is arguably defamatory is not necessarily a policy breach, and vice versa. Sending it to the wrong place can lead to a quick rejection that is harder to revisit.
- Appeals are limited. Google offers a one-time appeal through its Reviews Management Tool for reviews it decided were not in breach. Using that single opportunity well matters.
- Time and distance. Running a small business leaves little room to research policy wording and Australian defamation and consumer law. We do that research for you and present each case in the form Google asks for.
None of that changes who makes the decision. It changes how clearly the case is put.
Google review removal pricing
We charge per review that is successfully removed. There is no upfront removal fee and the initial assessment is free. The per-review rate decreases as the number of reviews in your case increases:

Prices are in Australian dollars, plus GST where applicable. If the same unlawful review reappears after we have had it removed, we act again at no extra cost. For worked examples and a comparison with doing it yourself or engaging a law firm, see Google review removal cost, or the summary on our pricing page.
A nationwide service, delivered remotely
Google reviews are handled online, so our service is too. We work remotely with businesses across Australia, from Sydney and Melbourne to regional towns, and our clients have included a dental clinic in Sydney, an accounting firm in Melbourne, a restaurant in Brisbane and a law firm in Perth. We do not have Australian offices or staff, and we do not need them: everything happens by email, phone and secure document exchange.
G-DEFENCE is operated by XSR Agency LTD, a company registered in Cyprus. We are not a law firm and we do not give legal advice. Where a matter calls for court action or formal legal advice under Australian law, we will say so and suggest you speak to an Australian lawyer.

Frequently asked questions
Can I see a review before deciding whether to send it to you?
Yes. Send the link to the review, or a screenshot and the name of the reviewer, through the assessment form. We look at it before you commit to anything, and the assessment is free whether or not you go ahead.
Will the reviewer know that their review was challenged?
Google does not generally tell reviewers who reported their content. If a review is removed, the reviewer may notice it has disappeared from their profile, but complaints we submit through Google's channels are not sent to the reviewer by us.
Do I need to give you access to my Google Business Profile?
Not in most cases. We usually work from the public review links and the information you provide. If a step requires an owner action inside the Business Profile or Reviews Management Tool, we explain exactly what to do so you stay in control of your account.
Can you remove reviews from other platforms too?
Our service focuses on Google reviews, which appear on Google Search and Maps. We do not offer removal for other review platforms.
What happens if Google removes some of my reviews but not others?
You pay only for the reviews that are removed, at the per-review rate for the size of your case. For the rest, we tell you whether a further step is realistic or whether the review is likely to stay.
